Student Course Load
Full-time students are expected to carry 12 to 16 credit hours each
semester. Students who wish to enroll in more than 16 credit hours must
receive the approval of the vice president for academic affairs and pay
the required fee for the additional hours. Students may not exceed 18
credit hours.
A request for a course overload is considered primarily for students
who have earned 60 or more credit hours and have a cumulative GPA of
2.5 or higher. A request does not mean it will be approved. Students
carrying less than 12 hours will be considered part-time students.
Students on academic probation are advised to enroll in less than 15
credit hours for the semester.
