Career Center
You've worked hard for four years, and you're on the verge of
completing your degree. Now what? That's where the Voorhees College
Career Center comes in. We're here to help you make the move from
student professional.
We do that through connections with Voorhees alumni who have gone on to
successful careers and through counseling aimed at keeping your job
search on track. We help you arrange interviews both on campus and
off. We hold career fairs to give you a chance to chat informally with
prospective employers. We offer tips on everything from resume writing
to networking. We have job databases and salary information we're eager
to share. Interested in pursuing an advanced degree? We can help you
there, too.
In short, we offer you a variety of tools to help smooth your
transition from classroom to office. Feel free to check out what we
offer online or stop by our office in Room 109 of the Wilkinson
Building.
It's never too early to start thinking about your career either. We're
happy to talk with freshman as well. Sometimes that discussion is just
the boost you need in planning your future and setting the goals you
need to achieve to get there.

Registration
Registration is mandatory for all seniors. Registration includes
completing the Voorhees College Career Planning and Placement personal
data form and questionnaire and providing two copies of your resume.
Juniors and sophomores are required to register within the first 60
days of their class year. This is especially important for students
interested in summer internships.
Career Counseling
During the second year at Voorhees, each student schedules a half-hour
appointment with the Career Center for assistance with planning a job
campaign, preparing for interviews, writing a resume and much more.
Truth in Disclosure
Intentional falsification of resume data and GPA will result in
privileges being reviewed by the Vice President of Student Affairs. It
is the students responsibility to review registration for accuracy and
completeness.
