WLTX-TV Anchor Darci Strikland to speak to the ladies of Voorhees College

Denmark, S.C. – On Thursday, March 21 at 1 p.m. in Massachusetts Hall Auditorium, WLTX-TV Anchor Darci Strikland will speak to the ladies of Voorhees College during a woman-to-woman program as part of the campus’ annual celebration of Women’s History Month.
Strickland, a native of Ladson, S.C., joined WLTX in 1997 as a general assignment reporter and rose steadily in her role with the station eventually becoming a lead anchor. The Emmy-award winning journalist helped reshape the entire face of local television in the midlands of South Carolina and is one of the most sought after speakers in not only South Carolina but in the south eastern states as well. As a wife and mother herself, she is particularly sought out by schools and social organizations as a special guest speaker.
