University Leadership
Voorhees University is governed by a
Board of Trustees.
In addition, the university’s leadership includes board-approved officers responsible for management and oversight of academics, research, finances, giving, technology, human resources, student affairs, communications and the greater university system.
Dr. Ronnie Hopkins
On July 9, 2021, Dr. Ronnie Hopkins was officially appointed by the Board of Trustees as the tenth president of Voorhees College, Denmark, South Carolina, USA. During his productive and progressive career in public and higher education for nearly three decades, Dr. Hopkins has served in a number of administrative and instructional positions which involve supervision of faculty, staff, students, budgeting, and strategic planning.
