ABOUT VOORHEES UNIVERSITY

Voorhees University is a private, diverse, historically black, coeducational, liberal arts, baccalaureate degree-granting institution affiliated with the Episcopal Church. Salary: $20.00 per hour (drive time)/$15.00 per hour (wait time)

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Drives bus to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule.
• Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
• Complies with local traffic regulations.
• Reports delays or accidents.
• Checks the condition of a vehicle’s tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.
• Follows written and verbal geographic directions.
• Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort.

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• CDL with P Endorsement is preferred.
• CDL is required.
