Voorhees University is a private, diverse, historically black, coeducational, liberal arts, baccalaureate degree-granting institution affiliated with the Episcopal Church. FLSA Classification: Exempt
Position Type/Duration: Part-Time/Semester
Position Schedule: Courses scheduled as needed: 8:00 am – 9:00 pm Monday – Saturday

RANK AND SALARY RANGE

· Adjunct Instructor — $650 per semester credit hour with terminal degree in the discipline; $550 per semester credit hour without terminal degree

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Develop and deliver engaging course content in real estate principles, property management, real estate, finance, and related subjects.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and exploration.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
• Provide academic advising and support to students as needed.
• Stay current with and integrate real-world examples into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the real estate program and contribute to the School of Business and Entrepreneurship.

EDUCATION
• Master’s degree in business administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred; a bachelor’s degree with extensive professional experience in real estate may be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Demonstrated expertise in real estate practices, trends, and regulations.
• Previous teaching experience at the college level is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student success and innovative teaching methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff in a diverse academic environment.
