Voorhees University Announces Partnership to Support the Center for Financial Advancement with $175,000 Funding Commitment from HomeFree-USA

Voorhees University is excited to announce a significant partnership that will provide up to $175,000 over the next four years to support the Center for Financial Advancement®️ (CFA). This initiative is set to enhance financial literacy and career opportunities for students, marking a groundbreaking step in financial education and empowerment within the university community.

This new partnership aims to prepare students for successful careers and financial independence by supporting programs that teach essential financial skills, provide access to internships, and offer certifications in various financial and real estate sectors.

The funding will help Voorhees University offer students opportunities in the real estate, finance, mortgage, and technology industries. Students will gain access and preparation for solid financial growth, learn money management and social skills, and be introduced to credit and wealth-building strategies. The program also promotes home ownership and emphasizes the importance of community engagement.

HomeFree-USA’s – Center for Financial Advancement ®️ (CFA) investment includes benefits such as an introduction and access to the mortgage banking and real estate finance industry for students. In addition to internship and career opportunities, students will be able to leverage and access HomeFree-USA services. The initiative also establishes an eight-month program with a stipend structure and offers seminars and certification opportunities provided by industry leaders.

Voorhees University is committed to fostering opportunities and initiatives through this partnership, aiming to prepare students for successful careers and financial independence. “This opportunity will empower our students with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions and achieve their financial goals,” States Dr. Katherine Whitaker, Dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
