Anti – Hazing Pledge

Voorhees University is committed to providing a safe educational environment for everyone cultivating a community that fosters respect for the dignity and rights of all persons.

As VU Tigers, hazing will not be tolerated.

 I will stand up against the actions of hazing and speak up when I witness it. 

 I will protect the physical and mental health and safety of every member of our community.

 I will demonstrate concern for others, their feelings, and their need for the conditions which support their work and development.

 I will build community through healthy and positive team building and leadership opportunities.

 I will dedicate myself to the betterment and empowerment of our communities through the collective action of our organizations and groups.

 I will value and welcome all students into our communities, not challenge them to prove their worth.

As VU Tigers, we are committed to ensuring our VU community is safe, fair and fun for everyone by speaking out, stepping up and living THE WRIGHT WAY.
