The National Education Association and Voorhees University Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation to host a Praxis Boot Camp

DENMARK, SC – The National Education Association and Voorhees University Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation are hosting a Praxis Boot Camp.  The event is taking place August 9-11, 2024 at Midlands Technical College, Airport Campus located at 1260 Lexington Drive in West Columbia. 

All participants must pre-register. However, pre-registration does not mean registration confirmation. The registration deadline is Monday, July 15. Access the form on epipathways.org

The NEA and Voorhees EPI Center will be providing support for the Praxis Core and Praxis II. Praxis Core is the initial exam taken by aspiring educators to measure their content knowledge and skills in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics.

Praxis II exams are used to test content knowledge and teaching skills in specific subject areas. Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education will be the areas of focus for this boot camp. Current or new NEA membership is required.
