Voorhees University President Ronnie Hopkins, Ph.D. Re-Elected President of the Association of Episcopal Colleges

DENMARK, SC – Voorhees University proudly announces that Ronnie Hopkins, Ph.D., President and CEO of Voorhees University, has been re-elected to serve a two-year term as President of the Association of Episcopal Colleges (AEC).
The re-election took place during the Annual Meeting of the Association of Episcopal Colleges, held at The Episcopal Church (TEC) Center in New York, NY. Dr. Hopkins’ re-election reflects the continued confidence of AEC member institutions in his leadership, vision, and steadfast commitment to advancing faith-based higher education.

As part of his continued service, Dr. Hopkins and the Voorhees University delegation will represent the institution at the 2026 Colleges & Universities of the Anglican Communion (CUAC) International Triennial Conference, scheduled for July 9–14, 2026, in Manila, Philippines. The international gathering will be hosted by Trinity University of Asia and will bring together global leaders in Anglican and Episcopal higher education.

The Association of Episcopal Colleges supports institutions with historic ties to the Episcopal Church, promoting transformative education that develops ethical, civically engaged, and globally conscious leaders. Dr. Hopkins’ leadership strengthens collaboration among member institutions and elevates the collective voice and mission of Episcopal colleges and universities worldwide.
