DENMARK, SC — Voorhees University, in partnership with SC Works, will host its Fall 2026 Job & Resource Fair on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Leonard E. Dawson Center, 481 Porter Road, Denmark, South Carolina.
The event will bring together more than 60 employers and resource providers representing a variety of industries and services, offering students, alums, job seekers, and community members direct access to employment opportunities, career resources, workforce development programs, educational information, and supportive services.
“The Job & Resource Fair is about creating meaningful connections and opening doors to opportunity,” said Mr. Ricky Clemons, Business Workforce Development Liaison at Voorhees University’s Rural Community Development Institute (RCDI). “By bringing employers and resource providers directly to our campus, we are helping our students and members of the surrounding community gain access to the tools, relationships and opportunities that can help them take the next step in their careers.”
Attendees will have an opportunity to meet employers who are actively recruiting, explore career and training opportunities, learn about community resources and build their professional networks. Participants are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes, dress professionally and come prepared to engage with employers and resource providers.
The fair is coordinated by Mr. Clemons and Ms. Donna Miller of SC Works and reflects Voorhees University’s continued commitment to workforce and community development by connecting individuals with resources that can support economic mobility and career advancement.
