DENMARK, SC, – Voorhees University will welcome high school band students and directors from across the region for its Summer Band Clinic and Camp, scheduled for July 6–10, 2026, on the University’s campus.

Hosted by the Department of Student Affairs and University Bands, the weeklong enrichment program will provide students with intensive musical instruction, leadership development, and performance preparation while offering directors opportunities for collaboration and professional engagement.

The camp will feature discussions and presentations for middle and high school band directors, auxiliary coaches, percussion instructors, and winds instructors. Students will receive approximately 60 hours of enrichment training in dance, flag, percussion, and wind instruction designed to strengthen both technical skills and individual school identity.

Under the direction of Eddie Ellis, the program is designed to expose participants to the collegiate band experience while enhancing musicianship, performance techniques, and leadership development.
