Voorhees University Welcomes DaVante Pondexter as Executive Director of Enrollment Services

Voorhees University is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. DaVante Pondexter as the new Executive Director of Enrollment Services, effective June 3, 2024. In this pivotal role, Mr. Pondexter will be instrumental in driving Voorhees enrollment strategies, a key factor in the growth and success of the student body.

In this critical leadership position, Mr. Pondexter will develop and implement comprehensive enrollment initiatives that align with the university’s mission and strategic goals. His duties will include overseeing our recruitment and admissions teams, and working collaboratively with financial aid, scholarships, student records, veteran resources, and other executive team members in the Division of Enrollment Management.

Mr. Pondexter brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to Voorhees University. Prior to joining Voorhees, he led admissions operations and student engagement efforts at Benedict College, where he significantly increased university enrollment by 34% through strategic recruitment initiatives across 13 states. His unique insight into building relationships with educational institutions and community organizations has been instrumental in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for students.

Mr. Pondexter’s educational background, professional experience, strong leadership skills, and innovative approach will undoubtedly contribute to Voorhees University’s continued growth and success.
