Voorhees University shares the spirit of Thanksgiving with Denmark families

Denmark, S.C. – Voorhees University faculty, staff and students donated Thanksgiving holiday baskets to families in Denmark on Nov. 22. Twenty-two groups representing the university contributed 32 baskets, boxes and gifts, which were distributed to families in the Fairridge Village and Cedar Apartments.

The items were taken to St. Philip’s Chapel just prior to the final chapel service before the campus closed for the Thanksgiving holiday break. Baskets and boxes included turkeys with the trimmings, breakfast foods and nonperishable items.
